The short version
This is a small website for a free community event. It does not use analytics, cookies, trackers, or advertising, and it does not build a profile of you. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us in an email.
Information you send us by email
Volunteer sign-ups, car show registrations, sponsorship inquiries, and general questions all reach us at info@americastrongfamilyfest.com. When you write to us, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, your email address, and sometimes a phone number, your preferred volunteer role, your availability, or details about a vehicle you would like to show.
We use that information for one purpose: organizing the event and replying to you. It is read only by the people organizing America Strong Family Fest. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share it with outside parties, and we do not add you to any unrelated mailing list.
The volunteer form on this site
The sign-up form in the volunteer section is not connected to a backend. When you press the submit button, the page shows a note asking you to email us instead. Nothing you type into that form is sent anywhere, stored, or seen by us — the information stays in your browser and is discarded when you close the page.
We would rather tell you that plainly than let the form look like it is working. If we connect the form to a real service in the future, we will update this page to say where the information goes before the form starts sending anything.
Analytics, cookies, and tracking
This website uses no analytics or measurement platform of any kind. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser’s local storage, and carries no advertising, remarketing, or social media tracking pixels. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.
Information collected automatically by others
Although we collect nothing ourselves, loading any web page involves other companies whose servers can see your Internet address. On this site those are:
- GitHub Pages hosts this website. GitHub receives the usual web request details — your IP address, browser and device type, and the page you asked for — and keeps them for security and abuse prevention. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces used across the site. Your browser requests them from Google on every page, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- OpenStreetMap provides the map shown in the Where to Find Us section. That map is embedded from OpenStreetMap and loads only when you scroll down to it, at which point OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and browser details. The OpenStreetMap Foundation publishes its own privacy policy.
We do not receive, request, or have access to any of this information. Each of these organizations handles it under its own privacy practices, not ours.
Links you choose to follow
The Get Directions link, the Add to Calendar buttons, and the link to St. Peter Lutheran Church take you to OpenStreetMap, Google Calendar, and the church’s own website. Those services only hear from you if you click. The downloadable calendar file is served from this site and involves no third party.
Once you leave this website, the privacy practices of whoever you are visiting apply. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Children
America Strong Family Fest is a family event and children are very welcome at it. This website, however, is written for adults making plans, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 18 and would like to volunteer, please have a parent or legal guardian contact us on your behalf. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep the emails you send only as long as they are useful for organizing the event and following up with you. We have not set a fixed retention schedule, and we would rather say so than publish a timeframe we do not actually follow.
You can ask us at any time to correct your information or remove it from our volunteer and registration lists. Email info@americastrongfamilyfest.com and we will take care of it.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable care with the information you send us, though no email system or website can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information — financial account details, government identification numbers, or medical information — to us by email or through this site.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the website or our event processes change — for example, if the volunteer form is connected to a real service or if we ever add analytics. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
